Products
We offer a comprehensive range of activated carbon products including coconut shell activated carbon, coal-based activated carbon, wood-based activated carbon, powdered activated carbon (PAC), granular activated carbon (GAC), and pellet/extruded activated carbon. Each type is available in various grades and specifications to suit different applications.
The best activated carbon for your application depends on several factors including the contaminants you need to remove, the phase (liquid or gas), flow rates, and budget. Coconut shell carbon is ideal for water purification and gold recovery. Coal-based carbon works well for general water treatment. Wood-based carbon excels at decolorization. Our technical team can provide personalized recommendations based on your specific requirements.

The iodine number is a measure of activated carbon’s adsorption capacity, specifically its ability to adsorb small molecules. It is expressed in milligrams of iodine adsorbed per gram of carbon (mg/g). A higher iodine number indicates greater microporosity and better performance for removing small organic contaminants. For water treatment, an iodine number of 900+ mg/g is generally recommended. For gold recovery, 1000+ mg/g is preferred.
Yes, spent activated carbon can often be thermally regenerated and reused. Thermal reactivation involves heating the spent carbon to high temperatures (800-900°C) in a controlled atmosphere to remove adsorbed contaminants and restore adsorption capacity. Typically, 5-10% of carbon mass is lost per regeneration cycle. We offer reactivation services and can advise on whether regeneration is cost-effective for your specific application.
